Job summary

Grain Processing Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform analytical testing on routine samples and assist with special assays and projects. The role includes calibrating equipment, maintaining lab quality, and using LIMS to manage data and generate certificates of analysis for shipments.

Ideal candidates will have an associate's degree in a science-related field, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate's degree in a science-related discipline (Chemistry or Biology preferred).
• Ability to communicate clearly, both oral and written, and to work with others in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on routine samples and act on results.
• Perform special assays and project work as directed by management.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Prepare and standardize chemical solutions and media for the lab.
• Use LIMS and ensure data integrity for lab records.
• Issue and validate certificates of analysis for customer shipments.
