Job summary

Magnera's Benson, NC facility seeks a Quality Lab Technician to perform in-process and finished product testing, ensuring compliance with quality specifications. You will collaborate with QA and Operations to identify issues, support improvements, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years manufacturing experience, and the ability to rotate shifts. Night shift with every-other-weekend work and potential holidays is the norm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability and willingness to rotate shifts to cover vacations, sick leave, or business needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document and analyze data.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and finished product testing as required by specifications.
• Enter data into Quality Windows, analyze results, and report trends indicating potential process issues.
• Participate in safety, product, and compliance audits.
• Coordinate with QA Lead, Shift Supervisor, Line Leader, Production Technician, and other Operations team members to resolve issues.
• Train others as needed and work overtime as required.
