Job summary

Cannon Muskegon seeks a Quality Lab Technician to perform chemical analyses on incoming, in-process, and finished samples at our flagship plant in Muskegon, MI. You will calibrate equipment, enter results into LIMS, and maintain records for compliance.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to EH&S policies, with potential overtime and weekend coverage. Two years of lab experience and a chemistry-focused education are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years lab experience.
• Two-year or four-year Applied Science degree preferred.
• Experience with LECO/XRF and trace analysis is advantageous.
• Proficient with laboratory safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis on samples using established procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; calibrate as needed.
• Enter data into LIMS and report results to leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and safety compliance.
• Cross-train with other technicians and assist during peak periods.
