Job summary

Mesabi Metallics Company LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support Mine operations by performing physical sample analyses and ensuring accurate measurements for process control. You will work with our lab team to maintain data integrity in the LIMS and contribute to safe, efficient daily operations.

The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn new lab equipment, and the ability to collaborate with Lab Chemists, Lab Manager, and plant leadership across shifts in a mining

Qualifications

• Experience in iron ore mining laboratory preferred.
• Willingness to learn new laboratory equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.
• Ability to work with hourly employees, supervisors, and managers across operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe physical analysis on concentrator and pellet plant samples.
• Enter lab data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain organized records, files, logs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Lab Chemists, Lab Manager, and Plant leadership to support operations.
