Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. seeks an analytical technician to support raw material and finished product testing in our QA laboratory. You will set up testing devices, run analyses, and record data while ensuring adherence to specifications.

You will generate technical reports, maintain records, and collaborate with production and sourcing to resolve material issues. A focus on safety and precise handling of equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in an analytical or QA environment lab preferred but not required.
• Strong lab skills and proficiency with precision equipment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up mechanical and electrical testing devices to analyze raw materials and finished products.
• Operate testing devices and record data, flag deviations.
• Support and maintain the facility's safety program and environment.
• Maintain accurate work records and test materials per specifications.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing work performed and results obtained.
• Assist with trials on experimental or pilot-scale equipment to evaluate new materials or processes.
