Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a QA/Analytical Laboratory Technician to support raw material and finished product testing. You will set up and operate testing devices, record results, and help ensure compliance with specifications and safety programs.

The role requires 1–2 years in an analytical or QA laboratory, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft tools. Working knowledge of MES and Blue Yonder is a plus. Based in CT, local travel may be required.

Qualifications

Strong laboratory skills and dexterity with measurement devices.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to learn and use enterprise software like MES and Blue Yonder.

Responsibilities

Set up mechanical and/or electrical testing devices to analyze raw materials and finished products.
Operate testing devices, record data, and flag deviations.
Support safety programs and maintain a safe/healthy work environment.
Perform routine and non-routine testing across materials.
Test materials for melt flow, FTIR, DSC, and mechanical properties.
Maintain records and equipment; communicate daily activities.
