Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented laboratory technician to support raw material and finished product testing through sampling, mechanical testing, and data recording.

You will use analytical instrumentation and maintain accurate records to meet established specifications. The role requires 1–2 years of experience in an analytical or QA environment, strong math and communication skills, and familiarity with MS Office and enterprise systems such as MES and Blue Yonder.

Qualifications

Mathematical ability required to analyze test data.
Strong lab skills and dexterity with precision equipment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Set up mechanical/electrical testing devices to analyze raw materials and finished products.
Operate testing devices and record data, flag deviations.
Support safety programs and maintain a safe work environment.
Perform daily testing related to melt flow, FTIR, DSC, mechanical testing and Critical Shear.
Prepare technical reports summarizing results.
