Job summary

Oleon is seeking a Quality Lab Technician for its Conroe, TX facility on a permanent contract. The role focuses on developing and monitoring quality standards for blending and esterification in lubricants, with extensive testing and audits to ensure ISO 9001 and related certifications.

You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years in a QA/QC role in a chemical/manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with ISO 9001, ASTM, API quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor quality standards for blending and esterification in lubricants.
• Conduct regular sampling, testing, and analysis to verify standards.
• Implement control checks to monitor process parameters and ensure quality
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems
• Prepare for and conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and technical teams to enhance quality controls
