Job summary

Moove Oil Analysis Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Analyst I to perform routine and non-routine testing on lubricants, supporting QC, customer oil analysis programs, product development, and technical services. The role emphasizes accurate data, adherence to safety procedures, and timely communication of results.

The position requires handling samples across Engine Guard Oil Analysis, Refinery Support, and Formulation QC, with opportunities to cross-train and contribute to process

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a petroleum, lubricant, chemical or analytical laboratory.
• Associate degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation such as ICP-OES, GC, GC-FID, FTIR a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine lubricant analyses using ASTM methods.
• Prepare reagents, calibration standards, and samples for testing.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and maintain data quality.
• Review results for accuracy and communicate findings to internal customers.
