Job summary

HVJ Associates is seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist with laboratory testing and support quality assurance and quality control for construction materials. Training will be provided by the Lab Manager, with emphasis on safe, efficient, and accurate work.

Responsibilities include documenting test work, communicating results to clients, maintaining equipment, and supporting engineering projects as directed. The role requires adherence to the quality manual and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing laboratory testing.
• Document work performed by number of tests or time spent.
• Communicate test results to client when required.
• Provide support on engineering projects as directed.
• Assist other personnel at the direction of lab manager.
• Perform duties in a safe, cheerful, efficient, and workmanlike manner.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
