Job summary

Covestro is seeking a Chemical Technician for the Frankfort, IN plant on a night shift (6:30pm–7am). This role supports coating resins production with safety and environmental responsibility at the forefront.

You will weigh materials, operate DCS, enter data into SAP, review quality information and work orders, and perform gas chromatography and lab functions to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Weigh raw material and hand-add to various vessels.
• Work with Distributive Control System (DCS).
• Enter data into SAP and train on any new system revisions.
• Access Data Entry quality information and Maintenance Work Orders.

Major Responsibilities
