Job summary

Evonik is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform in-process, raw material, and final product testing according to established methods and quality standards. You will document analyses clearly in laboratory notes and SAP, calibrate instruments, and support continuous improvement in analytical accuracy and safety.

The role requires a four-year degree in natural science or a two-year degree with lab experience, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in natural science or two-year degree with 2 years lab experience.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Mathematics, communication, computer, and organizational skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and communicate results of routine and nonroutine tests.
• Laboratory safety and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, raw material, and final product testing per established methods and quality standards.
• Document analyses in lab notes and SAP databases.
• Calibrate, standardize, and maintain instruments per SOPs.
• Monitor and manage laboratory hazardous waste streams and disposal per regs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe lab/work environment.
• Communicate test results to production and quality teams.
