Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a dedicated laboratory/quality technician to support manufacturing batch testing and supplier COA documentation at our Tennessee plant. You will run standard tests on product batches and select raw materials, while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

You will record results in SAP, maintain COA files, and help verify instruments. The role requires adherence to safety practices and active participation in continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with quality testing in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with COA documentation and lab records.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard tests on product batches and some incoming raw materials to meet Avient and customer specifications.
• Acts as a technical resource to production addressing issues related to batches.
• Recommends adjustments to batches to meet specifications.
• Records test results in SAP and maintains COA documentation.
• Completes and maintains required paperwork and records.
• Ensures all gauges and test equipment are verified.
• May participate in investigations of complaints and corrective actions.
• Follows safety rules and maintains housekeeping standards.
• Sends documentation to customers (COA) and other required reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
