Job summary

Geon Performance Solutions is seeking a Quality Associate to test product batches and incoming raw materials, and to maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA) from suppliers.

You will perform standard tests to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards, support production as a technical resource, record results, and participate in investigations, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related manufacturing lab/quality experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and safety rules.
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to operate standard lab equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety rules and maintains housekeeping.
• Performs standard tests on product line finish materials and some incoming raw materials to meet specifications.
• Acts as a technical resource to production for final product quality.
• Records test results in lab software and maintains reference files.
• Verifies gauges and lab standards daily.
• Participates in investigations of complaints and corrective actions.
