Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Lab Technician to join the quality lab team in Ohio. You will collect and test aggregate samples, enter results into the quality reporting system and assist with loading ships with product.

The role requires basic math, MS Word/Excel skills, and a safety-first mindset. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be willing to complete the MDOT/ODOT Certified Aggregate Technician program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic knowledge of statistics helpful.
• Willingness to attend MDOT/ODOT Level I-III Certified Aggregate Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities safely.
• Collect samples from aggregates.
• Conduct routine testing of aggregate samples (quartering, gradations, washes, moisture, deleterious material).
• Enter data into the aggregate quality reporting system.
• Load ships with specified products.
• Maintain a basic understanding of control charts.
