Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician to join the quality lab in Medina, Ohio. You will collect and test aggregate samples, loading ships with spec products and ensuring accurate data entry.

The role emphasizes safety, basic statistics, and use of Word and Excel to document results. A High School Diploma and MDOT/ODOT Aggregate Technician certification are preferred, along with a good driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic math and statistics knowledge required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to attend MDOT/ODOT Level I-III Certified Aggregate Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities safely.
• Collecting samples.
• Performing routine testing of aggregate samples (quartering samples, running gradations, washes, moistures and picking deleterious).
• Entering data into the aggregate quality reporting system.
• Loading ships with spec products.
• Basic understanding of control charts.
