Howmet Aerospace Inc. in City of Industry, CA is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Tech III for the Lab to support aerospace fastener testing and inspection. You will perform quality checks, read blueprints, document results, and assist auditors to ensure compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Quality experience required.
• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing per specifications and ensure accuracy of results.
• Prepare quality lab documentation and write routine reports.
• Review raw material for compliance with specifications and verify product acceptance.
• Interface with auditors and customer representatives as needed.
• Operate and interpret measurements using micrometers and calipers.
• Back-up for Visual Inspection, Sorting and document scanning as needed.
