Job summary

Cayuga Milk Ingredients, LLC is seeking a Quality Lab Technician for our aseptic dairy manufacturing facility to conduct testing, collect data, and ensure compliance with NYS Ag & Markets, FDA, USDA and GMP standards. The role supports Raw Milk Intake QA and special projects, with emphasis on safety and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in related fields preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lab testing programs, regulatory compliance, and dairy processing standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, collect, and analyze in-process and finished product samples; maintain state certification for sampling.
• Perform analytical testing using instrumental and wet chemistry procedures.
• Verify quality and package integrity of outbound finished goods.
• Enter and report data using established procedures and documentation platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sanitation teams to troubleshoot quality issues.
