Job summary

Gilmore, a Control Devices, LLC company, seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead the Quality Lab and oversee hourly staff in a manufacturing environment serving the oil and gas industry.

You will ensure products, processes, and documentation meet company standards and customer specifications, while collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Direct supervision or leadership experience is required.
• Experience with inspection, nonconforming material, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• ISO-based Quality Management System familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and direct hourly employees in the Quality Lab and inspection.
• Guide QC Lead in work priorities and staffing for manufacturing needs.
• Provide training, feedback, and development for the team.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure inspection activities meet procedures, specs, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Review inspection results and assist with disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Maintain calibration and availability of inspection equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and others to meet quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, customer specs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Support special projects and other quality initiatives.
