Job summary

Jasper Engines invites qualified students for a Quality Internship to gain hands-on experience with our Quality Engineers in a manufacturing remanufacturing setting. You will support quality improvement, lean initiatives, and SOP development during a summer 2027 internship of 8–12 weeks.

You will work on problem-solving, data analysis, and process reliability, with exposure to transmissions and gas engines. Strong Excel skills and teamwork are essential for success in this high-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Student entering junior or senior year in fall 2027 in engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Solid Modeling Software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge or experience with Gas Engines and/or Transmissions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete problem-solving projects aligned with quality goals.
• Support remanufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Assist with RCA and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and deviations.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and error-proofing devices for quality processes.
• Prepare reports and present findings to engineering and operations leadership.

Job Description:Quality Internship Overview: As an Intern with our Quality Team you will gain hands-on experience working alongside our experienced Quality Engineers in the Manufacturing setting. Interns support quality improvement and process engineering initiatives within one of our remanufacturing facilities, ensuring adherence to standards, reducing scrap/rework, and enhancing process reliability.
