Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Quality Inspector - Scanner in the Engineering industry. This role is critical to our mission of maintaining the highest standards of quality in our products and services. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of our products using 3D scanning technology and other advanced engineering tools. This position offers an excellent opportunity to play an integral part in our quality assurance processes, ensuring that our products meet both internal and external requirements, including regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed inspections of products using 3D scanners and Faro Arm, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures based on AS 9100.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Participate in the development and updating of quality control policies and protocols.
  • Train other staff members on the use of 3D scanning technology and other inspection tools as needed.
  • Participate in product development processes to ensure quality standards are considered and met.
  • Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all safety and compliance measures are met within the work environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a quality inspection role.
  • Understanding of AS 9100 quality assurance standards.
