Job summary

CSS in North Canton, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of wire and cable assemblies. You will inspect materials, parts, and products at different stages of production to ensure conformance to specifications.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of quality inspection experience, strong attention to detail, good math and documentation skills, and the ability to use

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experience
• Ability to analyze information

Responsibilities

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database
• Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
• Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
• Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function
• Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise
