Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of wire and cable products.
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks for workmanship and specifications.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and approved test equipment to verify conformance.
• Verify item numbers, work orders, reel IDs, quantities, labels, and traceability.
• Approve conforming product and communicate adjustments to operators or supervision.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming product; verify rework before release.
• Complete inspection reports, logs and quality records accurately.
• Maintain measuring equipment and report calibration concerns.
• Communicate recurring defects and maintain a clean inspection area.
