Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Quality Inspector/Technician to inspect and test products, diagnose root causes for returns, and document results. You will handle basic repairs and repackage units for resale or scrapping as needed.

The role requires 1–2 years in quality testing, familiarity with small appliances, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A hands-on, organized approach is essential in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher education required.
• 1–2 years of Quality and product testing experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with small appliances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect sample products and returns.
• Diagnose root causes of issues and document findings.
• Repair or recondition products as authorized.
• Complete inspection logs and testing data.
• Coordinate with QA and CS teams on defect patterns.
• Support warehouse operations and inventory reconciliation.
