Job summary

Eaton Corporation is hiring a quality inspector in New York to perform predefined and ad hoc inspections and audits ensuring product conformance to specifications. A high school diploma and at least one year of inspection experience are required, with strong blueprint-reading and measurement tool skills.

The role includes generating inspection reports, coordinating returns with Warranty Services, and maintaining calibration of devices. Benefits start day one and the shift runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Within 50 miles of the work location; relocation not offered.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Experience with ISO Quality System is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and first article parts for conformance.
• Generate inspection reports and communicate results to teams.
• Coordinate disposition of customer returns with Warranty Services.
• Ensure calibration and traceability of measuring devices.
• Support problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
