Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Quality Inspector III for Final Inspection on the 1st shift (hours 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). The role focuses on inspecting parts, assemblies, and documentation to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• 3 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of parts and assemblies.
• 3 years of experience using business class software in a professional employment setting.
• Must live within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to mechanical and visual inspections.
• Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions and specifications.
• Utilize Non-Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications.
• Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
