Job summary

Eaton’s PDCA Power Distribution Control Assembly division in El Paso is seeking a Quality Inspector.

The Quality inspector will verify correct wiring, components, program controllers, and conduct electrical testing of switchboard products and components, as required, per applicable test procedure and/or component literature with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or technical degree.
• 1+ year manufacturing or military experience, or technical degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and Hi-Pot switchboard products per instructions and gov’t requirements.
• Perform electrical testing to verify switches, breakers and torque specs.
• Document non-conformances and ensure proper rework or corrective actions.
• Verify revisions and ensure current documentation is used.
• Assist with training of production staff on testing procedures.
• Communicate clearly with front-end personnel on quality issues.
