Job summary

BMZ USA, INC is seeking a Quality Inspector to proactively prevent defects, verify product conformance, and drive continuous improvement. You will inspect parts, perform tests, enter results, and support audits to protect quality and production targets.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, using calipers and micrometers, and coordinating with teams to address quality issues while documenting in Excel and ERP systems. English fluency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus related experience or training.
• Ability to use basic measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft products and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Inspect in-process parts and sub-assemblies according to design requirements.
• Perform practical tests, measurements, and calculations to verify conformity.
• Prepare and perform outgoing goods inspection.
• Enter inspection results in Excel database.
• Prepare quality communications using computer-based systems or other means.
• Communicate actions for product quality concerns with team members.
• Track assembly floor and ship loose production for QA audits.
• Create NCRs and conduct NCR investigations and containments.
• Label nonconforming product and update ERP records.
• Perform ERP transactions related to QA warehousing.
• Control, count, and reduce inventory in area of responsibility.
• Inspect reworked product for acceptance.
• Update calibration tracker for traceability.
• Verify measuring devices are within calibration periods.
• Support production with quality issues.
• Other duties as assigned by QA Manager.
