Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform routine inspections and tests across the production process. You will verify conformance to specifications, read blueprints, and document results to support quality commitments in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years QA/QC experience, and proficiency with MS Office. VT certification is required, BT certification preferred, and welding knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• 2+ years QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding knowledge preferred.
• VT Certification (visual inspection) required and BT Certification (bubble leak) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect output samples and incoming items; compare to standards and measure dimensions.
• Ensure manufacturing meets QA/QC standards and procedures.
• Review blueprints and BOM specs to verify products.
• Record inspection results and data in QA databases.
• Maintain calibration of measurement equipment and request repairs as needed.
• Read engineering drawings and radiographs; use calipers and micrometers for measurements.
• Perform mass spectrometer testing on manufactured equipment.
• Identify flaws such as cracks or weld issues in joints.
• Audit QA procedures, work instructions, and processes.
