Job summary

ACME Cryogenics, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform routine inspections, tests, and measurements on materials, components, and finished goods throughout production.

You will inspect output samples, compare to standards, read engineering drawings, and verify dimensional accuracy with calipers and micrometers. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years QA/QC experience, VT certification, and MS Office proficiency; welding knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• VT Certification required; BT Certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Welding knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect output samples and incoming items against standards.
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC requirements and procedures.
• Review blueprints and BOM specifications for conformity.
• Record results, reworks, and data in QA databases.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs.
• Verify calibration of measurement equipment and report issues.
• Perform mass spectrometer testing on manufactured equipment.
• Identify and report non-conforming material.
