Job summary

Wakefield Thermal seeks a Quality Inspector to support operations, manufacturing, and procurement in maintaining quality and driving through-process improvements. You will perform first piece, receiving, roaming, and final inspections, compiling documentation and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve nonconformances.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years in manufacturing, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Piece and Receiving inspections for conformance to requirements.
• Roaming Inspection to ensure operator inspections are complete and accurate.
• Final Inspection to verify batch/lot conformance.
• Generate documentation for outgoing customer product (Certification of Conformance, etc.).
• Daily / Weekly quality metrics reporting (e.g., rejections).
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement to resolve nonconformances.
• Document nonconformance details and support MRB disposition and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and organize company documents and records per control protocols.
