Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Quality Technician for day-to-day inspection and documentation. You will interpret blueprints to verify part and assembly accuracy, then convert data into reports to drive training and process improvements.

The role is on the manufacturing floor, with the majority of time spent on inspection and data analysis. The candidate should have strong attention to detail, blueprint-reading skills, and experience with MS Word/Excel reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks timely.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for reporting.
• Strong blueprint reading and tape measure skills.
• Prior quality assurance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts on the manufacturing floor (approximately 30%).
• Inspect assemblies on the manufacturing floor (approximately 50%).
• Analyze data and generate reports to support training or process improvements.
• Coordinate with engineers, update SOPs, and address anomalies as needed.
