Job summary

Global Power Components seeks a Quality Technician to perform day-to-day inspection and documentation of parts and assemblies on the manufacturing floor. You will interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy and present data in a statistical format for reports and training.

The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in MS Word/Excel, and basic math, with a pre-employment test to assess aptitude on these areas. This is a day-to-day on-site position in Milwaukee, WI.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and follow through in a timely, accurate manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for writing reports and data analysis
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with Pareto charts preferred
• Quality assurance experience preferred
• Engineering Technician experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document parts and assemblies on the manufacturing floor
• Convert collected data into reports for training and process improvement
• Assist engineers, communicate issues to vendors, and help update SOPs as needed
