Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Quality Inspector for day shift to perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.

The role includes inspecting materials and welds throughout the manufacturing process, performing nondestructive examinations, and using inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Prefer certification in 2 NDE inspection methods or ability to become certified.
• Prefer Weld Inspection Specialist qualification or ability to become qualified within 90 days.
• Prefer minimum of 2 years welding experience.
• Prefer 1 year experience with ISO standards.
• Ability to read, write & speak English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Proficiently utilizes inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Performs inspection of finished product - Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
