Arcosa Wind Towers in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Quality Inspector for the day shift to perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.

The role involves inspecting incoming materials, or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds; performing nondestructive examination; and using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and strengths in a

Qualifications

• Prefer certification in 2 NDE inspection methods or ability to become certified.
• Prefer qualified as Weld Inspection Specialist or the ability to become qualified within 90 days.
• Prefer minimum of 2 years welding experience.
• Prefer 1 year experience with ISO standards.
• Ability to read, write & speak English.
• Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture.

Responsibilities

• May inspect incoming materials, or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Proficiently utilizes inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Performs inspection of finished product - Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
