Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Warrendale, PA is seeking an inspector to perform inspections on mechanical and electrical components and assemblies per drawings, specs, or established procedures. You will report to the Quality Control Supervisor Global I&C Production & IV&V, and work at the Warrendale facility.

Responsibilities include reading orders, reviewing drawings, following quality procedures, validating test data, inspecting items for defects, and ensuring proper receipt

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical curriculum is required.
• Recognized technical programs may substitute for formal education.
• Naval Nuclear or other military programs may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering work orders and review procedures, drawings and specs to determine inspection requirements.
• Follow Westinghouse Quality procedures.
• Review vendor test data for accuracy.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components/assemblies and identify defects.
• Review purchase orders to complete receipt inspections.
