Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections on mechanical and electrical components at our Warrendale, PA facility. You will follow established quality procedures, review drawings and test data, and verify receipt inspections with vendors.

This position requires technical education and certification within six months to NRC/ANSI standards. The role emphasizes adherence to Westinghouse quality systems, preparation of documentation, and meeting Level 2/Level 1

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a technical curriculum is required.
Substitution with recognized technical programs is permissible.
Military technical programs (e.g., Naval Nuclear) may qualify.
Must meet Westinghouse Level 2 per WEC 2.9 and achieve Level 1.
Certification within 6 months to NRC 1.58 and ANSI/ASME 45.2.6 is required.

Responsibilities

Read engineering work orders and review inspection procedures, drawings and specifications to determine inspection requirements on mechanical and electrical components.
Follow Westinghouse Quality procedures.
Review test data from vendors to validate for accuracy.
Inspect mechanical and electrical components/assemblies and identify defects.
Review purchase orders to complete receipt inspection.
