Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, seeks a Quality Inspector in North Carolina to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality plans. The role emphasizes lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

You will participate in safety programs, perform timely quality checks, and drive corrective actions to prevent defects, while maintaining an orderly work area and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.
• Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent or higher with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 6S/Safety Committee and document minutes and action items.
• Monitor and measure product compliance to customer requirements and daily duties.
• Communicate the quality policy to all people at the facility.
• Ensure that timely quality checks are performed per our quality plans.
• Recommend corrections to prevent machine performance or quality issues.
• Control non-conforming product until deficiency is corrected.
• Verify the implementation of solutions.
• Conform to all Quality/Safety requirements and procedures.
• Keep a clean and orderly workplace.
• Participate in Continual Improvement Process for manufacturing processes.
• Waste reduction training and awareness.
