Baxter Healthcare seeks a Quality Inspector in Marion, NC. You will participate in quality checks across filling, pouching, and packaging lines, collect samples, verify specs, and ensure compliance with cgmp and safety standards.

You will train teammates, support continuous improvement, and maintain documentation in POMS/SOPs. The role emphasizes rapid, accurate decision-making and a safe, clean work environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
• Minimum of 6 months experience on a production floor or in a quality control role preferred.
• Possess basic competency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
• Proficient in use of measurement tools (Caliper, Micrometer, Ruler, etc.) as well as basic hand tools.
• Possess or be able to obtain Work saver Operator Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled line checks to verify filling equipment and production supplies are correct and settings appropriate.
• Collect samples and verify container, components and over-pouch meet quality standards, verify print legibility and check for leakage.
• Examine and verify packaging equipment performance meets quality standards.
• Test and confirm that equipment is passing/failing batch information and product properly.
• If assigned to plastics, collect samples and visually inspect produced materials for irregularities and dimensions.
• Perform seal integrity testing and various testing methods such as freeze mode and destructive oven testing.
