Job summary

MW Components in Addison, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections and to stop production when parts fail.

You will read drawings and specifications to ensure test requirements are met, document samples into the Quality Lab tracking system, review lab test results, and assist the Quality Engineer and Manager as needed. A High School Diploma is required and familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in a QA or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reads and understands print drawings and specifications for correct test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Has the authority to stop production if parts do not pass.
• Receives and documents sample parts into the Quality Lab tracking system.
• Reviews lab test results to ensure all operations are properly performed and recorded.
• Issues and tracks production gauges to the manufacturing floor.
• Sort parts in the lab if required.
• Assists Quality Engineer and Manager as required.
