Job summary

Midland Mfg. in Skokie, IL is looking for a Quality Inspector to support QA lab duties in production. You will interpret drawings and verify PPAP parts, apply statistical methods to assess process capability, and specify gauges and instrumentation for manufacturing.

You will communicate results to the production and engineering teams, follow ISO 9001:2015 standards, and participate in team safety and problem-solving activities. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years performing similar QA/inspector tasks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work Safely and without injury.
• Interpret drawings and verify production parts per PPAP.
• Apply statistics to determine process capabilities.
• Specify instrumentation and gauging needs.
• Communicate results to Midland Mfg. team and engineering.
• Follow ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 quality standards.
• Participate in team reviews and problem solving.
• Perform 5S, coolant replacement and TPM housekeeping.
