Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a quality inspector for a 12-hour C shift. The role inspects PCBA/HLA products at various production stages, performs sampling and 100% inspections, and enters data into GSF. The candidate will work under QA guidelines and participate in root-cause analysis.

Requirements include a middle school certificate, 1 year in manufacturing (2+ preferred), IPC-A-610/IPC-A-620 certifications, and strong communication skills. Training for QA will be completed within six months.

Middle school certificate required
1 year manufacturing experience; 2+ years preferred
IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to sit or stand for long periods
Must complete QA training within six months of starting

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspection procedures to ensure quality at production stages
Visually inspect sub-assemblies and HLA products using magnifier and sampling methods
Enter standardized information into GSF and escalate issues
Supervise work area according to 5S standards
Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify cause of quality issues
