**Quality Inspector Position Summary**

The Quality Inspector performs first piece, in-process inspections, and final inspections of components and assemblies according to control/quality plans. Reviews and approves final release documentation, performs incoming inspections of received materials, and completes quality records following company and GMP guidelines, policies, and procedures.

**Shifts Available**

• 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11pm Mon-Fri

**Responsibilities**

• Inspect injection molded parts for quality, appearance, and performance.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, appearance, and performance.
• Inspect received materials for quality, appearance, and performance.
• Audit final product documentation prior to release.
• Identify causes of defects.
• Read and understand quality control plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use precision testing equipment such as Tool Scope, CMM, OGP, and other metrology tools to check parts dimensions.

**Additional Responsibilities**

• Maintain effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Follow work instructions, setup sheets, and checklists accurately.
• Record and report hours worked accurately.
• Maintain an organized work area following 5S principles.
• Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.

**Qualifications**

• Basic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand customer drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication of inspection results.
• Manage multiple requirements and deadlines.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with measuring instruments, including CMM and Vision Systems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

**Preferred Skills**

• Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485 standards.
• Quality training/certifications.
