Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector II to directly support manufacturing practices by developing, evaluating, and improving processes with a focus on meeting customer quality expectations. The role emphasizes dimensional and visual inspection, blueprint interpretation, and non-conforming material control.

Onsite position with regular M-F schedule, 6:00am–4:30pm, offering a comprehensive compensation package and opportunities to lead and train inspectors while

Qualifications

• Understand industry safety standards and quality expectations.
• 3+ years in metal fabrication with a continuous improvement QMS and hands-on inspection preferred.
• Ability to read simple instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plate, and height gage.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Visual inspection of product according to customer requirements.
• Inspect and test in-process and finished products.
• Document inspection results and report non-conformities.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming product.
• Lead and train Level I inspectors as needed.
• Assist with calibration and maintain measurement equipment.
• Lead lean process improvements on the shop floor.
