Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector II to enhance site manufacturing by developing and applying QA/QC methods. You will read blueprints, perform visual and dimensional inspections, and ensure products meet customer specs.

Responsibilities include documenting results, quarantining non-conforming parts, and supporting calibration and PPAP verification. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for this onsite Kentucky role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in metal fabrication with quality inspection in a continuous improvement environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints; understand QA/QC processes and PPAP concepts.
• Ability to document results and participate in lean process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections per customer specs.
• Inspect in-process and finished products; document results and non-conformances.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other gauges; quarantine non-conforming parts.
• Support calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment; lead Level I training.
• Assist with PPAP dimensional verification and internal control plans.
• Provide feedback to production on measurement techniques and process improvements.
