Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA, opens a new manufacturing facility and seeks a Quality Inspector II to perform advanced inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies to ensure products meet engineering specs and customer requirements.

You will conduct in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspections, identify nonconformances, support root cause investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement while working with cross-functional teams on complex power management

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of quality inspection, manufacturing, assembly, or related experience required.
• Visual quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience inspecting complex mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical assemblies preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly documentation, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Verify proper assembly and installation of components and system elements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and quality documentation to determine acceptance criteria.
• Identify defects and communicate nonconformances to relevant teams.
• Support corrective actions with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality groups.
• Conduct final audits and quality verification prior to shipment.
