Jabil in Prince George, VA, is seeking a Quality Technician to support a new factory startup focused on large form‑factor equipment. You will perform inspections, analyze data, and drive quality improvements across supplier, engineering, and production interfaces.

The role requires 4+ years in quality in manufacturing, strong drawing interpretation, and experience with measurement tools. On-site, second shift, competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret advanced engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specs.
• Perform inspections with calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and height gauges.
• Identify defects and nonconformances during inspections.
• Support containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze quality data for trend analysis and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of assemblies, components, and materials.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring equipment.
• Verify products meet drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials and processes.
• Support containment activities, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze quality data to support trend and Pareto analyses.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and test data.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality concerns.
• Develop and improve inspection procedures, quality plans, and work instructions.
• Support internal audits, process audits, and quality system activities.
