Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer II to join the 2nd shift at the Prince George, VA facility. This on-site role supports startup manufacturing of large form-factor equipment and collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish robust quality systems.

You will lead CAPA and containment actions, develop inspection and process controls, and drive quality improvements across manufacturing, suppliers, and customers. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 3+ years in Quality Engineering or manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection plans, control plans, PFMEAs, and process documentation.
• Support new product introductions, process development, validation, and startup activities.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, containment and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and defect trends to identify improvements.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and support improvements.
• Maintain quality records and support ISO 9001 compliance.
