Job summary

Dover Corp in Richmond, VA is seeking a Quality Inspector II to ensure incoming shipments and warehoused parts meet customer and company standards. This hands-on role involves inspecting cases and parts, mentoring others, and supporting the Quality team with audits and inspections.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of related experience, and experience with calipers, micrometers, and CMM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years with measuring equipment calipers, protractors, micrometers, etc.
• 2+ years using blueprint tolerances and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and performance procedures are met in a safe, clean setting.
• Data collection and charting.
• Take part measurements to prints using calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
• Load/product testing and audits/inspections with Quality team.
• Collaborate with other departments on discrepancies and documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage locations.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
