Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform basic dimensional and visual inspections across manufacturing processes, following GMP guidelines.

You will use micrometers, calipers, CMM and vision systems, document results, and help isolate non-conforming products while supporting ISO 9001/13485 standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance.
• Ability to read customer drawings and specifications.
• Ability to communicate inspection results with team members.
• Ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production inspection needs.
• Mechanical Aptitude and dexterity.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect received materials, components, and assemblies relating to quality, appearance, and performance.
• Interpret and accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
• Report and isolate non-conforming product.
• Use a variety of inspection measurement tools and gauges.
• Operate various precision testing equipment including CMM and Vision systems.
• Support and comply with ISO and GMP quality requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Partner with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
